Motorway A4 (Serbian: Аутопут А4 / Autoput A4) will span approximately 109 kilometers (68 mi) in Serbia. It begins at Niš, at the junction with A1 motorway and runs eastward, to the border crossing with Bulgaria, at the Gradina–Kalotina checkpoint. The motorway is part of the Pan-European corridor X. 30 kilometers (19 mi) are in service, and except for the Niš and Bela Palanka bypasses, all of the remaining sections are under construction.[1] It is planned to be connected with the Bulgarian Kalotina motorway that will run to Sofia.
