APPH designs and manufactures hydraulic systems and (landing gear) for civil and military aircraft.
History
APPH began as the British subsidiary, AP Precision Hydraulics, of an American engineering company, in 1985. The British subsidiary was based on Shaw Road in Speke.[2]
It was bought by BBA Group in September 1987 for £25 million (£62.8 million current value).
It changed to the name APPH on 3 October 1995.
On 3 February 2014, Héroux-Devtek Inc acquired APPH from BBA Aviation, purchasing 100% of the share capital for US$124M.[3]
