Advanced Semiconductor Engineering, Inc., also known as ASE Group, is a Taiwan-base manufacturer of semiconductors.
The company was founded in 1984 by the brothers Jason Chang, and opened its first factory in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.[1]
The company chairman is the Taiwanese/Singaporean billionaire Jason Chang.[2]
In November 2015, the company's market cap was USD 8.72 billion.[3]
