A Cool Sound from Hell is a 1959 film directed by Sidney J. Furie.

Plot summary

Sidney Furie’s^[1] second film, which followed A Dangerous Age, was also released in England but not Canada. A Cool Sound from Hell^[2] is about a young man (Amthony Ray) who becomes disillusioned with the beat crowd he hangs with when they become involved with drugs. The soundtrack was provided by jazz great Phil Nimmons. Shortly after making this film Furie left for England where his career took off in 1961 with The Young Ones starring Cliff Richard.
