Aakash Dahiya (born 20 September 1983) is a Mumbai-based actor and casting director, who is known for his work in Bollywood films.[1][2]
Career
Born in New Delhi, Dahiya first started acting in the New Delhi Theater. He then started working as associate casting director[3] with his friend Mukesh Chhabra in Mumbai.[4][5]
His first role in Bollywood was as 'Googly' in Chillar Party,[6][7] directed by Nitesh Tiwari and Vikas Bahl. He also got some smaller roles in Rock Star (2011), Kaminey (2009), and Trishna(2011).[8][9]
Later, in Nikhil Advani`s D-Day (2013 film), he acted as 'Aslam'. The film got critical appreciation and so did his character.[10][11] After that Dahiya appeared in Mastram,[12] and Bobby Jasoos.[13][14] He conducted acting workshop for the movie Bobby Jasoos.[15][16][17][18] He acted as Amit[19] in [20] Zeishan Quadri’s Meeruthiya Gangster [21] .[2][22][23][24][25][26] In 2015 Aakash appeared in Anand L. Rai s Tanu Weds Manu Returns in a short role as Deepak[27][28] but he got appreciation for is dazzling appearance .[29]
