Aaron Tshibola (born 2 January 1995) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Reading.[2]

Early life

Born in Newham,[3] England, Tshibola joined Reading's academy at age thirteen[2] and signed his first professional deal with the club in March 2011.[4] While in the Reading Academy, Tshibola went on trial with Manchester United.[5]

Career

Club

Reading

Ahead of the 2014–15 season, Tshibola signed a new contract with the Reading, keeping him until 2016.[6] Then on 23 August 2014, he made his professional debut as a 86th-minute substitute in a Championship fixture against Nottingham Forest.[7]

On 9 September 2015, Tshibola extended his contract with Reading until the summer of 2019.[8]

Hartlepool United Loan

On 2 January 2015, Tshibola moved to League Two side Hartlepool United on a one-month loan deal,[9] before making his debut the next day in a 1–0 loss against Wycombe Wanderers.[10] His first four appearance at the club earned Tshibola a loan extension until the end of the season.[11] Tshibola loan spell extension led Manager Ronnie Moore of expressing his commitment at Hartlepool United.[12] He was then rewarded man of the match, in a 3–2 win over Plymouth Argyle after making an impressive performance when he set one of the goal in the game.[13]

International

Tshibola was called up by England U18 and made his debut, coming on as a substitute in the second half, in a 1–0 loss against Belgium U18 on 5 March 2013.[14]
