Aastha H Gill is an Indian playback singer from Delhi. She is best known as a playback singer in Hindi films. Her Bollywood playback singing career began with the party song Dhup Chik[1] with entertainer Raftaar and Badshah from the movie Fugly in 2014.[2]
She followed it up with hits like Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai[3] from the movie Khoobsurat with Badshah. Her latest single track with Badshah DJ Waley Babu[4] went viral on internet and has received 7 million views within a month of its release on YouTube.
Coming from a conservative Punjabi family, her career choice was quite unheard of. She has also performed shows before. A passionate singer, her success has been attributed towards her love for hip hop.
