Waleed Jassem al-Alwani, also known by the nom de guerre Abu Ahmad al-Alwani, was a senior commander in the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and a member of it's military council.[2][3]
A former officer in the Iraqi Army under Saddam Hussein,[2] he was reportedly killed by coalition air-strikes in late 2014.[4]
