Abul Hayat is a Bangladeshi actor. He is also a writer and a civil engineer.[1] He got National Film Award in best supporting actor category in 2007 and was awarded Ekushey Padak for his writing in 2015 by the Government of Bangladesh.[2]
Education
Hayat got his B.Sc. Engineering degree from Department of Civil Engineering of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).[3]
Career
Hayat was an executive engineer of Dhaka WASA.[3] He has acted in over 1000 television dramas.[3] His first acted TV drama was Oedipus in 1969.[4]
As of February 2015, Hayat has written 23 books in total. He wrote his first book Trishnar Shanti in 1989.[1]
Personal life
Hayat's two daughters, Bipasha Hayat and Natasha Hayat, are actresses. His son-in-law Toukir Ahmed is an actor too.
