Acacia orthocarpa is a shrub belonging to the genus Acacia and the subgenus Juliflorae. It is native to Pilbara and Kimberley regions of Western Australia.[1]

The erect spreading and spindly shrub typically grows to a height of 0.9 to 4 metres (3 to 13 ft). It flowers from March to April or June to July producing yellow flowers. The plant will grow in sandy or stony soils.[1]
