Acapulco Shore is a Mexican reality television series broadcast on MTV Latin America. It premiered on September 27, 2014 and is the Mexican adaptation of American show Jersey Shore (TV series).[1] It will follow the same format as the American, British (Geordie Shore) and Spanish (Gandía Shore) versions.[2] The show follows the lives of eight participants who live in Acapulco, Mexico. After the first season, fans were expecting a second season of the show due to its great success in Latin America. MTV Latin America announced the second season will premiere on may 19th, 2015 since the first season reached an audience of 7.2 people in the Latin region. Shooting began in march, 2015 in Acapulco and it also took place in Cancún later on. The show aired on MTV every Tuesday at 22:00.
Cast
The first season cast is formed by Luis "Caballero", Manelik "Mane", Fernando "Koko", Joyce, Tadeo, Talía, Jawy, and Diego "Potro" de Acashore, y Karime. Joyce was removed of the cast starting the second season and Brenda joined as her replacement.
