Acronicta pruinosa is a moth of the Noctuidae family. It is found in Sri Lanka, the Himalaya, east to Japan and Taiwan south to Burma and Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo, Java and New Guinea.

The larvae feed on Elaeagnus species.
