Adam Everett Livix

Adam Everett Livix is an American Christian fundamentalist and suspected terrorist who was arrested in 2014. According to Israeli police, he was planning to blow up several Muslim holy sites in the region in order to start an apocalyptic war. He is also suspected by the police of being mentally ill.[1]

Livix, a Texan, was found to be in possession of stolen military material, which his roommate, an Israeli soldier, allegedly helped provide him with. He had stayed in Bethlehem and Hebron, where he posed as a former Navy SEAL. He allegedly turned down an offer by a Palestinian who wanted to enlist him in an attempt to assassinate U.S. President Barack Obama. Livix has a history of other legal problems in the United States, including drug charges.[2] After leaving the West Bank, Livix settled in Israel where he reportedly expressed strong anti-Arab views.[3]
