Adam Gase (born March 29, 1978) is an American football coach who is the head coach of the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). Gase has also coached for the LSU Tigers, Detroit Lions, San Francisco 49ers, Denver Broncos and Chicago Bears.
Coaching career
Chicago Bears
After the Chicago Bears hired John Fox as their new head coach, Gase came over to the team to be Fox's offensive coordinator again.[1] In Gase's only season as Bears OC, the team finished 18th in total offense, while also recording 5,514 total net yards[2] and 344.6 per game.[3]
Miami Dolphins
The Miami Dolphins announced that Gase would be their head coach on January 9, 2016.[4]
Personal
Gase is married to the daughter of New Orleans Saints linebackers coach Joe Vitt.[5]
