Adam Shada (born May 22, 1985 in Omaha, Nebraska) was an American football player for the University of Iowa Hawkeyes football team. He graduated with the class of 2008, after starting for three years.
Shada, a 6-1, 185-pound cornerback, came to Iowa from Millard North High School in Omaha, Nebraska. After playing primarily on special teams as a true freshman, he started several games during his sophomore and finished 8th in the Big Ten with three interceptions, despite missing the last three games with an injury.
His junior year started with three interceptions in seven games (including a school-record 98-yard interception return for his first career touchdown), but was hurt during a game with the Michigan Wolverines. Shada returned in the 2006 Alamo Bowl against the University of Texas-Austin.
Shada was an academic All-America with a 4.0 GPA.
