Adam Toupalik (born 9 May 1996) is a Czech male cyclo-cross cyclist. He won the silver medal in the men's under-23 event at the 2016 UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships in Heusden-Zolder. At the world championship cyclocross in 2016 , while still a round left to finish, Toupalik raised his arms thinking he won and slowed down, before the Belgian competitors Eli Iserbyt and Quinten Hermans. It took some time to realize he still has a lap to go, thus losing precious seconds. Nevertheless he succeeded in placing, but this time is beaten in the sprint by Eli Iserbyt. [1][2]
