Adam Wallace (born September 22, 1981 in Delta, British Columbia) is a Canadian soccer player of Jamaican heritage who currently plays for Western Mass Pioneers in the USL Second Division.
Career
College and amateur
Wallace attended Delta Secondary School and played college soccer at the University of Vermont, where he earned first team All-America East honors and was a second team All-New England selection as a senior in 2002, and was second on Vermont in scoring with seven goals and four assists leading UVM to a second-place finish in the America East.
Professional
Upon graduation, Wallace travelled to Belgium, where he was signed to a professional contract by KSV Roeselare after a successful trial in the summer of 2003. In the six games of the trial he scored two goals, and tallied his first goal against Sassport Boezinge on July 9, 2003, in his first game as a professional.[1]
After brief stints playing for LD Alajuelense in Costa Rica in 2006, in China in 2007,[2] and playing with Canadian amateur side ICSF Inter in 2008, Wallace signed with the Western Mass Pioneers of the USL Second Division in 2009.
International
Wallace has joint Canadian and Jamaican citizenship, and has played internationally with national junior teams from both countries. He was a member of the Jamaica squad at the FIFA 2001 World Junior Tournament in Buenos Aires.
