Adama Njie
Adama Njie (born 7 February 1978) is a retired Gambian middle distance runner who specialized in the 800 metres.
She won the bronze medal in this event at the 1996 African Championships.[1] She also entered the World Championships in 1997, 2001 and 2003 as well as the Olympic Games in 2000 and 2004, without ever reaching the final round.
Njie holds the national records in both 400 m (55.32 seconds) and 800 m (2:05.41 minutes). Both records were set in 2001.[2]
