Adelaide United FC Youth is an Australian semi-professional association football team based in Adelaide, South Australia. Founded in 2008, it is the youth and reserve team of Adelaide United. The team currently plays in National Youth League and from 2015 they will compete in the local NPL SA, starting out in State League which is the second level on South Australia's football pyramid. The Young Reds play their home matches at the Elite Systems Football Centre.

History

The team was founded in 2008, as a Adelaide United representative team for the inaugural season of the National Youth League competition. On 29 October 2014, it was confirmed that the team would compete in the National Premier Leagues South Australia competition for 2015 season onwards.[1]
