Adelphia is a genus of snout moths in the subfamily Phycitinae. It was described by Heinrich, in 1956.[1] The type species is Adelphia petrella, which was originally described as Pempelia petrella by Zeller, in 1846. It is found in North America,[2] from New Jersey to Florida and westward to Iowa and Texas.[3]
Another species, Adelphia ochripunctella, was formerly included in this genus,[4] but is now placed in the genus Pseudadelphia.
