Adil Ibrahim is an Indian film actor, Radio Jockey and model. He debuted in Sanjeev Sivan’s ‘Endless Summer’[1] in (2013), a Malayalam movie. The film featured him playing‘Unni’ alongside National award winning actors Salim Kumar (Adaminte Makan Abu)and Seema Biswas (Bandit Queen)His first film as the lead actor is another Malayalam movie Persiakkaran[2] (2014),directed by Ashok R Nath. In this movie, he played the role of Aravind, a Radio Jockey based in Dubai.
Early life and family
Adil Ibrahim[3] was born to Nalakath Ibrahim and Sabira on 6 February. His family hails from Tirur, Kerala but has a base in Dubai, UAE. He graduated in Chemical engineering from BITS Pilani, Dubai. He has four siblings- Shibu, Subahiya, Afif and Sana.
Film career
Adil was working for Nakheel group and Tetra for a while before he wrapped up his chemical engineering profession to pursue his passion -cinema. In 2009, he started his TV anchoring career with the Malayalam channel Asianet. He became popular among the family audiences with ‘You, Me and Dubai’ , a show based on Dubai Shopping festival and Magic Carpet, an Arabian Travelogue in the same channel. Adil has also been associated with Amrita TV and Media One channel anchoring their popular shows.
He was an RJ and Producer at RadioMe (100.3 FM Dubai) for almost 2 years). As an RJ, he was doing the breakfast show, ‘Morning Madness’ at RadioMe. Adil’s shows ‘Ramadan Nights’(based on the spirit of Ramadan) , and ‘Cocktail’ (based on gizmos and gadgets) , increased his popularity as an RJ and secured his space in the world of media. Adil has also done few short films and commercials in his career so far. Adil is also a internet blogger and runs his own charity movement, Virtue Wednesday in UAE. He is currently hosting D3Dance show on Mazhavil Manorama .His performance is captivating audience.
