Adnan Buyung Nasution, also known as Adnan Bahrum Nasution[2] (20 July 1934 – 23 September 2015) was an Indonesian lawyer, advocate, and activist in Indonesia. He founded the Legal Aid Institute in Indonesia.[3] He was well known as a human rights and pro-democracy activist during the reign of Indonesia's late President Suharto. From the years 2007 to 2009, Adnan was inducted as a member of the Presidential Advisory Council's Legal Department.
Nasution died in Jakarta on 23 September 2015 from renal failure and heart failure.
