Adrienne McNeil Herndon
Adrienne Herndon (born July 22, 1869 in Georgia)[1] was an important African American woman in Atlanta, Georgia. She married Alonzo Herndon who was born a slave and became the first Black millionaire in Atlanta. Their mansion home, Herndon Home, which she designed, was declared a National Historic Landmark in 2000.[2]
