History

The company originated in 1994 as a contracting business handling cleanup and repairs in southern Florida after Hurricane Andrew.[1] Following the relocation of company headquarters to Charlotte, NC, the AdvantaClean brand was established. A pilot franchise program was initiated in 2000 and made available to the general public in 2008. Since 2007, the company has been headquartered in Huntersville, North Carolina.[2]

Headquarters and Training Facility

AdvantaClean’s North Carolina headquarters includes a centralized 24-hour customer care center[10] and a 22,000-square-foot (2,000 m2) training facility located on a 5-acre (20,000 m2) campus. The training center includes a 1,700-square-foot (160 m2) house for hands-on training and full-scale simulations. Franchisees participate in continuing education by attending bi-weekly webinars hosted by AdvantaClean’s home office training staff.[11]
