Aegae (Euboea)
Aegae (Ancient Greek: Αἰγαί Aigai) was an ancient town on the west coast of the island of Euboea, opposite the mainland city of Anthedon. The geographer Strabo records a sanctuary of Aegean Poseidon on a mountain nearby.[1]
