Aegires is a genus of sea slugs, dorid nudibranchs, marine gastropod mollusks in the family Aegiridae.[2] Members of the species in this genus feed exclusively on calcareous sponges.[3] Images of the radula can be seen in these references.[4] and [5]
Aegires is the type genus of the family Aegiridae.[6]
