Aeolos Travel is a European travel operator and online hotel and travel agency. The company is the subsidiary of Francoudi & Stephanou & TUI Group. Aeolos is the largest independent and Specialized Travel Agency, offering online Travel Services, Inbound and Outbound in Cyprus.[1] Aeolos operates BookCyprus.com and BookMalta.com online travel portals.
History
Aeolos Travel was founded as a General Agency in 1933, and became thirteen years later, on June 1, 1946, the very first Travel Agency of the island, even before Cyprus had its own National Airline, Cyprus Airways started to operate. On the 1st of June 1961 Aeolos Travel was appointed General Sales Agent for Swissair.
