Aetapcus maculatus, the Warty prowfish, is a species of Australian prowfish endemic to the coastal waters of southern Australia where it inhabits mostly rocky reefs. This species grows to a length of 21 centimetres (8.3 in) TL. This species is the only known member of its genus.[1]

Distribution

Shark Bay, Western Australia, to Wilsons Promontory, Victoria, and south to Maria Island, Tasmania.[2]
