African heavy metal is a music scene in Africa, most particularly in Botswana.[1] The African heavy metal scene truly started to blossom in the 1970s.[2][3][4][5]
There are also regional scenes in South Africa, particularly in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Port Elizabeth.
