Meseşenii de Jos (Hungarian: Magyarkecel) is a commune located in Sălaj County, Romania. It is composed of four villages: Aghireş (Egrespatak), Fetindia (Gurzófalva), Meseşenii de Jos and Meseşenii de Sus (Oláhkecel).
