The wingspan is 25-26 mm. The forewings are pale brownish buff, blotched with brownish suffusion. The extreme base of the costa and a series of 15 to 16 spots on the costa and around the termen are fuscous. There is a transverse blackish bar beyond the base and a blackish crescent in the cell. The surface of the wing is roughened by hairlike scales. The hindwings are shining light greyish-fuscous.
