History
Agriya was founded by Aravind Kumar in 2000. He is the current CTO of the company.[1][6] The company was registered as a partnership firm in the registrar of companies, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
On 12 June 2008, Agriya was featured in Forbes for its Facebook clone script "Kootali".[7] In early July 2010, they had around 100 FOSS/Linux professionals in its workforce.[6] On 9 March 2011, Agriya was featured in The New York Times for its GroupOn clone script, "GroupDeal".[8]
