- Agua Fria Union High School (Avondale), which serves a student population of 1,560, has undergone continuous expansion and modernization since it opened in the fall of 1955, though it maintains its rich heritage and tradition. Agua Fria High is a comprehensive high school with full academic, fine arts and athletic programs. AFHS has 25 Career and Technical Education programs ranging from Career Exploration to Computer Programming, Law and Public Safety, Construction and Healthcare, and an Air Force Junior ROTC program.
- Desert Edge High School (Goodyear), was the first LEED silver-certified high school in Arizona and only the fourth in the United States.
Desert Edge High is the district's third high school, opening in the fall of 2002, with classrooms for 1800 students. Desert Edge High was the first "Green" Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) silver certified high school in Arizona, and the fourth in the nation. It is a comprehensive high school with full academic, fine arts and athletic programs. DEHS has 12 Career and Technical Education programs including Career Exploration, Graphic Design, Law and Public Safety, Sports Medicine, Business Management and Financial Services, and Cisco Network Academy.
- Millennium High School (Goodyear), opened as a freshman campus in 1979, and became a full high school within the next two decades. Millennium High is a comprehensive high school with full academic, fine arts and athletic programs. MHS has 29 Career and Technical Education programs, among them Career Exploration, Agricultural Science, Business Management, Teaching Professions, Computer Maintenance and Repair, Culinary Arts, Healthcare, Advertising and Marketing, and Animal Science..
- Verrado High School is the district's fourth high school, opening in the fall of 2006. The district's second "Green" school, Verrado High features a smaller learning community of four houses within the school which provides an open learning environment where experiential learning opportunities abound. It is a comprehensive high school with full academic, fine arts and athletic programs. VHS has Career and Technical Education programs in Career Exploration, Television Production, and Pre-Engineering.
- A fifth high school has been designed; originally planned to open the fall of 2010, construction on the building has been delayed due to issues at the Arizona School Facilities Board. This school will use a smaller learning communities format.
