Luis Aguilar-Monsalve (born Cuenca, Ecuador) is an Ecuadorian writer, critic, and professor who teaches at Hanover College.
Biography
Aguilar Monsalve received a BA from Loyola Marymount University, an MA from Claremont Graduate University, and an MA and PhD degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles. He has been a professor of Latin American literature and cultures at the Hanover College since 2006. From 2001 to 2006, he was visiting assistant professor and writer-in-residence at Wabash College; from 1995 to 2001 he was Professor of Latin American Literature at Universidad San Francisco de Quito.[1]
Literary work
Luis Aguilar Monsalve has published nine books of short-stories since 1992. In addition, he has published one novel with Editorial Verbu,[2]
