Agustín Lanata was an Argentine amateur footballer, he played in River, Independiente, Banfield and Quilmes.[1]

Career

Lanata began his career in Independiente, he was one of the players who played the first match of the Club Atlético Independiente in the first division.[2]

Lanata played in the Club Atlético River Plate from 1912 to 1916. There, he played about forty games he scored four goals. In 1914, Lanata, won the Cup Competition playing for River.[3] This year River qualified for The Tie Cup Competition, which saw him victorious and became the first international title of River Plate by defeating Bristol 1-0.[4]

In 1918 Lanata played fleetingly in Boca Juniors,[5] then he went for Banfield and ended his career in the Quilmes Atlético Club.
