Ahihud (biblical figure)
Ahihud (Hebrew: אֲחִיחֻד ’Ǎḥîḥuḏ) is the name of multiple Biblical figures, meaning brother (i.e. "friend") of union, or "brother of a riddle".
- A son of Bela, the son of Benjamin (1 Chr 8:7).
- The name has a different meaning in Hebrew, father of Judah. Ahihud was chief of the tribe of Asher; one of those appointed by Moses to superintend the division of Canaan (Num 34:27).
