Ahimsa (English: Non-Violence)is a 1981 Malayalam film directed by I. V. Sasi and written by T. Damodaran,[1][2] starring Sukumaran, Ratheesh, Mohanlal, Mammootty, Poornima Jayaram, Seema, and Menaka.[3][4] Ahimasa followed Angadi and was a precursor to Eenadu; it met with average response but Mammootty won the Kerala State Film Award for Second Best Actor for his role as Vasu.[5]
