Ahmet Örken (born March 12, 1993 in Çumra, Konya Province) is a Turkish professional cyclist riding for UCI Continental team Torku Şekerspor in Konya. He is 177 cm (5 ft 10 in) tall at 77 kg (170 lb).[1]

Örken began with cycling sport at the age of fourteen in 2007 at Çumra, Konya Province, where he moved from his village with her mother to enable his older brother's education there. The next year, he entered the cycling team at Çatalhöyük Çumra Municipality Sports Club with the help of his brother.[2]

He became the first ever European champion Turkish cyclist with his win at the 2011 European Track Championships - Junior Men's Omnium held in Portugal.[2][3]

In 2013, Ahmet Örken won solo the sixth stage between Meknes and Khenifra of the Tour du Maroc despite injuries he suffered during a fall he was involved in a mass carambolage at kilometer 20.[2][4] He finished third the stage eight (Beni Mellal-Marrakech) at the same event.[5][6] Örken won the stage four (Kladovo-Požarevac) and six (Sremska Mitrovica-Belgrade) of the Tour de Serbie in 2013.[7][8]
