Ahn Jae-hyun (Hangul: 안재현; born 1 July 1987) is a South Korean actor and model.

Career

Ahn Jae-hyun began his entertainment career as a fashion model in 2009, appearing in runway shows, magazine editorials and commercials. He began to get noticed in 2011 when he played a "handsome delivery man" in the cable variety show Lee Soo-geun and Kim Byung-man's High Society. He also appeared in several music videos, including "Sad Song" by Baek A-yeon, "Please Don't" by K.Will, and "Gone Not Around Any Longer" by Sistar19.[1][2]

In 2013, Ahn's popularity increased when he was cast in a supporting role as Jun Ji-Hyun's younger brother in the hit Korean drama My Love from the Star.[3][4] This led to more acting offers in 2014; as one of the main characters in police comedy You're All Surrounded,[5] and the webtoon film adaptation Fashion King.[6][7]

In 2015, Ahn played his first leading role as a vampire doctor in Blood.[8][9] He is also set to star in the upcoming Chinese romantic comedy film Wedding Bible.[10]

Personal life

On 11 March 2016, it was confirmed that Ahn had been dating his Blood co-star Ku Hye-sun since April 2015.[11] On 8 April 2016, it was announced that the couple will get married on 21 May.[12] Instead of having a wedding, the couple plans to donate money to the pediatric ward of Severance Hospital.[13] he upload his proposing picture with her in his instagram. [14]
