Ahuano (historically also Aguamo<ref name=Framenta entomologica 35: 141 (2003)'>Racheli, T.; L. Racheli (2003). "An Annotated Check List of Ecuadorian Nymphalidae. Part II. Libytheinae, Danainae, Ithomiinae (Lepidoptera)". Fragmenta entomologica, Roma 35: 139–274.</ref>) is a small Quechua village[1] on the north bank of the Napo River[2] in Napo Province, Ecuador. It has become known as a tourist destination for the nearby hotel La Casa de Suizo (named after its Swiss founder),[3][4] and has a school.[2]
