Aigialosauridae
Aigialosauridae (Greek, aigialos = "seashore" + sauros= lizard) is a family of Late Cretaceous semi-aquatic varanoid lizards, regarded by some paleontologists as a distinct monophyletic group and by others as an adaptive grade within the basal mosasauroids.
