Ajit J. Khubani

Ajit J. Khubani is the founder and CEO of "As Seen On TV" products giant TeleBrands.[1]

He attended Montclair State University in New Jersey where he majored in business administration while working for his father’s importing business. During this time, Khubani tried selling a product on his own. Using money from his savings, he took out an ad in the National Enquirer for a Walkman-type radio, which his father had sold to him on credit. He sold 2,000 of them and broke even. Eventually, at the age of 25 years, Khubani hit it big with a massaging slippers product. He earned $200,000.

Khubani’s first major product with TeleBrands were Ambervision Sunglasses. He went on to create many more top-selling products, including the famous PedEgg.[2]

He has been featured on many talk shows like The View, Chelsea Lately, Dr. Phil, The Wendy Williams Show, The Today Show and CBS Early Show among others, displaying and demoing his products like the PedEgg, Pasta Boat, Chef Basket, and BottleTop.

Khubani tours the country hosting TeleBrands Inventors Days where at-home inventors come to pitch their products in the hopes that they may have the next big hit.[3]
