The firm was founded in January I984 by C. Nonyelum Okeke and former Minister of Foreign Affairs Nigeria, Henry Odein Ajumogobia.[5]
In 1999, an informal alliance with the law firm of Ukiri & Shasore resulted in a full merger of the two firms.[6]
