Akash Thosar (born 24 February 1998) is a Marathi film actor. His debut Sairat made him popular face. Sairat is a classical love story movie directed by Nagraj Manjule. Akash is interested in wrestling too.[1]
Personal life
Akash Thosar from Pune was into wrestling before he entered the world of acting. He lost over 13 kg for his role in Sairat.[2] His education was completed at the SSVM Aundh 2016 batch HSC passout in Pune, followed by studies at the Pune University. At the college level, he has taken part in few plays and nataks.[3][4]
Career
Nagraj Manjule called him for an audition. He gave the audition expecting a short, side role but was surprised to find him in the lead role of Parsha opposite new actress Rinku Rajguru who plays the role of Archie.[5]
