Akigawa Station (秋川駅 Akigawa-eki) is a railway station in Akiruno, Tokyo, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).

Akigawa Station is served by the Itsukaichi Line, and is located 5.7 kilometers from the starting point of the line at Haijima Station.

History

The station opened on 21 April 1925 as Nishi-Akiru Station (西秋留駅). The station was renamed to its present name on March 31, 1987. With the privatization of Japanese National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987, the station came under the control of JR East.
