Akuemon (悪å³è¡›é–€) is the sixth and last anime episode in the Lion Books series. It was an OVA release. This episode was never broadcast on Japanese TV, but it was instead shown at a Hong Kong film festival. It is the first anime directed by Makoto Tezuka, son of the famous Osamu Tezuka.[1]
Story
The story is about a fox outwitting a hunter and the strange lives they live as destiny brings them together. This is the story of the Parents of 'Abe-No-Semei', the most powerful sage in Japanese history.
DVD
It was re-released as a DVD on March 21, 2003 on the same disk as Adachi-ga Hara.
