Sūrat al-Ḥujurāt (Arabic: سورة الحجرات‎, "The Chambers") is the 49th surah (chapter) of the Qur'an with 18 ayat.

It addresses the Muslim identity (see v.15), preaching the code of conduct to be followed by a Muslim in his or her life; it emphasises what kind of attitude a Muslim must have towards their prophet (v.1-5).
