Sūrat al-Ḥujurāt (Arabic: سورة الحجرات, "The Chambers") is the 49th surah (chapter) of the Qur'an with 18 ayat.
It addresses the Muslim identity (see v.15), preaching the code of conduct to be followed by a Muslim in his or her life; it emphasises what kind of attitude a Muslim must have towards their prophet (v.1-5).
