Al-Jabbul (Arabic: الجبول) is a city in the Aleppo Governorate, Syria to the north of saline lake called Sabkhat al-Jabbul.
Etymology
The city's name is derived from Gabbula which was a Bishopric seat during the Byzantine era.[1]
