Al Habtoor City
Al Habtoor City (Arabic: الحبتور سيتي) (former name ‘Habtoor Palace complex’) is a multi-use development comprising more than three hotels (St. Regis, Westin, W hotel) and three high-rise residential towers commissioned by the Al Habtoor Group in 2012.[1][2] Under construction in Dubai, UAE, the first hotel, St. Regis, is scheduled to open in 2015.[3] Al Habtoor City stands on the site of one of Dubai’s oldest hotels, the Metropolitan on Sheikh Zayed Road (E11 Road)[4]
Al Habtoor City consists of three hotels operated by Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide: St Regis, W Dubai Sheikh Zayed Road and the Westin Dubai.[5] The residential towers are planned to include two 75-storey residential towers and a third 52-storey tower with 1,460 apartment units, alongside 11 penthouses.[6] Al Habtoor City will also feature a 1400-seat permanent water-themed show by Franco Dragone, a tennis academy and clubhouse with eight tennis courts, one of which is air-conditioned,[7] and a car park with a capacity of 2290 cars.[8][9]
