Al Hamool

Coordinates: 31°18′36″N 31°8′32″E / 31.31000°N 31.14222°E / 31.31000; 31.14222 Al Hamul or الحامول in Arabic is one of the largest cities in Kafr el-Sheikh Governorate, in the north of Egypt. It is located in the northern part of the Governorate.

The Name

The name, Al Hamul, is taken from the name of a plant called "al hamul" which is usually planted in Lake Burullus near Baltim.
